Introduction
Hi! I'm a NYC English teacher and PADI Instructor. I miss diving, so I was thrilled to discover Oceanblue. I'm looking forward to meeting people who love and care about the ocean and diving as much as I do.
What dive association(s) do you belong to (i.e., NAUI, PADI, SSI, TDI, etc.), what is your highest level of certification, and how many logged dives do you have? (If you're new and have never been diving, that's great too, tell us why you're here):

I became a PADI Instructor in 2002, approximately 500 dives.

What was the date of your initial certification (month/year)?

1997.

When was your most recent dive excursion/trip and where?

My most recent trip was with my diving students in April 2003 in Playa Del Carmen, MX, where I'd been living and teaching diving for 14 months.

What type of diving do you like to do (cold water, warm water, wreck, cave, etc.) and where would you like to go in the future?

I love warm water diving, drift, night and wreck diving, and was entranced by the cenotes of the Yucatan Peninsula where I had lived. I may be open to trying local diving, and I'd love to dive the Red Sea, the Maldives, Belize, Bonaire, etc.

How did you find out about us (craigslist, google, scubaboard, meetup.com, etc. Please don't skip this question, it really helps us!)?

  •  Britt-o-rama is new to the crew this year and has found a home on the foredeck. The woman has no fear and has fit in perfectly with the group of misfits that make up the rest of the Enterprise team. We know her plan to kill us all and take over the ship for herself, but in the meantime, I'm glad to have her as a friend. If anything, she should learn to cheer up and smile a little. :-)
