Introduction: hi! i'm looking forward to meeting scuba divers in the nyc area. so far, i have only 1 friend who dives. where are all the other divers out there?
What dive association(s) do you belong to (i.e., NAUI, PADI, SSI, TDI, etc.), what is your highest level of certification, and how many logged dives do you have? (If you're new and have never been diving, that's great too, tell us why you're here):: PADI. i have my advanced certification & approx. 80-90 dives but i have not been diligent about keeping a log book.
What was the date of your initial certification (month/year)?: initial certification: summer 2002 advanced: summer 2006
When was your most recent dive excursion/trip and where?: thailand- similan & surin islands, richileu rock. may 2008.
What type of diving do you like to do (cold water, warm water, wreck, cave, etc.) and where would you like to go in the future?: warm water. my fave is whale sharks & manta rays. i used to be scared of wreck dives but i've recently started to appreciate them. i may try cave diving next. i'd like to dive galapagos islands (wolf & darwin) again, malaysia, philippines, cocos, papua new guinea.
How did you find out about us (craigslist, google, scubaboard, meetup.com, etc. Please don't skip this question, it really helps us!)?: No answer yet
