Do you like to travel with fun people?

Join us for a fun scuba diving trip locally (Southern California) or come with us to a warm water destination like Cozumel, Micronesia or Papua New Guinea. Our group is open to ALL certified scuba divers world-wide, even if you're not a photographer.

If you're interested in digital photography we can teach you everything you want to know about taking pictures topside or underwater AND what to do with those pictures in Photoshop or Elements once you've captured them. Everyone is invited. No camera is too big or too small. Even if you're not a photographer, join us for some great trips to some of the most exotic destinations in the world.



We are based in Orange County, California but travel around the world to dive and photograph the most exciting and exotic reefs we can find. We conduct digital underwater photography workshops about six times a year. Many of these workshops are free to guests of our sponsor resort or live-aboard.

Who should join this group?
All certified scuba divers...PADI, NAUI, SSI, YMCA, etc world wide. Many members are photographers, but you don't have to be a shooter to join us on any local dive or dive trip. If you would like to get certified, send us a message and we will point you to a dive shop that can get you certified in a couple of weeks. No time? Come with us to try a Discover Scuba class in the warm, crystal clear waters of Cozumel or other tropical destination. All ages over 18 are invited to join.

Who should not join this group?
Whiners, complainers, stuffy boring people who don't want to get out and DIVE, people who can't commit to a travel reservation, people who are generally disliked by all other Meetup Groups...OK, you get the picture. This group is about having fun doing what we love to do most...SCUBA DIVE!

What kind of events are planned for the future?
There are many upcoming trips and workshops planned through 2008 but we will be organizing local dives too (Southern California). We'll also organize other events and plan local parties too. Stay tuned!

I'm not a certified diver. Where can I learn how to scuba dive?


To earn a ><(((º> you must attend at least one meetup event!
This is how we separate the guppies from the sharks! Many people join this Meetup Group because its cool to be a scuba diver and everybody wants to hang with us. But they never come to any events! We for those of you who do RSVP and show up, you will earn your scales! After the event, you will be awarded the prestigious ><(((º> to you title.
